Hope you have a few hours...
I'm just kidding, I won't bore you with my life's story but I'd like to share with you a little about myself...
After working for almost a year with Direwolf Digital, I am looking for new opportunities / positions in the industry as a designer.
Now that that's out of the way...
I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life until one night during my Senior year of High School when I finished my second play-through of Bioware's Dragon Age: Origins.
Spoiler Alert:
Kidding again I wouldn't spoil it for you, but the ending of this specific play-through really dug into my thoughts. Something about it made me find myself thinking about the game hours and hours after my X-Box was turned off and the rest of the world had moved on with their lives. I had formed such an attachment to the characters within the game; these pieces of code, these instances of objects within a game that were cleaned by the garbage collector the second I hit the power button.
It was then and there that I realized I wanted to be apart of that world, to touch somebody else's life with a game I created as this game had touched mine. In no time at all I was enrolled in the University of Colorado Colorado Springs' new degree for a Bachelor of Innovation in Game Design and Development.
Over the course of my educational career, I have acquired the skills with which to; program games, manage game design teams, create amazing games, start my own business, and how to transform ideas in to actual impact. Now it is my goal to continue to improve myself as a game designer & developer to bring an impact to a player's life as an impact was brought to mine.
TL;DR
I'm a Game Designer who has been inspired their whole life by games, and now it's my turn to make games that inspire.
